APO ISLAND

The longest standing community lead marine sanctuary in the Philippines, Apo Island is one of the most popular diving and snorkelling locations in the world.

With 400 species of colourful corals, 600 species of fish and a healthy population of Green and Hawksbill turtles the biodiversity of this island just shows how successful the sanctuary is. White sand beaches, shallow clear waters and stunning island scenery- it’s a great place for swimmers and snorkelers.

Divers are spoilt for choice with a wide variety of dive sites including shallow coral gardens, epic walls and thrilling drift dives. A photographer’s heaven.

SELINOG ISLAND

Discovering the quiet unspoilt island of Selinog is certainly a special day. A flat tropical island hosting white sand beaches and palm trees sitting on top of a towering underwater volcano.

Below the surface are pristine coral reefs, sandy slopes, caverns and thriving marine life. From fascinating macro such as nudibranchs and shrimp, up to large schooling barracuda and jacks, and passing sharks.

Silinog also has one of the best technical dive sites in the area- a large cargo ferry sank in 1987 and is now sitting at 60m deep jam packed with fish life. Reserved only for qualified technical divers with wreck diving experience.

Enjoy lunch on the beach and hire a bicycle to cruise around the island’s only ‘road’ (3km). Silinog is the next Apo island without the crowds- a rare opportunity not to be missed.

SIQUIJOR COASTAL

Although a relatively small island, Siquijor has some of the widest variety of dive sites in the central visayas. Choose three of your favourite dive sites in Siquijor for an epic day trip not to be forgotten.

The coastal dive sites include a fantastic variety of marine sanctuaries, coral reefs, walls, sandy slopes, sunken islands, caves and muck so divers can decide which will interest them the most. Whether they want to see turtles gliding over shallow coral gardens, or searching for tiny rare critters in the muck, there’s something for everyone.
